The 67th Cannes Film Festival has officially kicked of on Tuesday May 14th with the 'Grace of Monaco' Opening Ceremony. Stunning Nicole Kidman (take a view on my Instagram teaser), embodies Princess Grace in the film, arrived at the red carpet in an ARMANI Privé Haute Couture soft blue lace gown.
Spanish actress Paz Vega plays Maria Callas in the 'Grace of Monaco' biopic, she arrived on the red carpet in ELIE SAAB Haute Couture.
A little throwback to last year, when I wrote:
"As Official Partner of the 66th Cannes Film Festival, Chopard would like to welcome you in their Lounge Hotel Martinez, 73 Boulevard de la Croisette, Cannes.
... with this amazing view from the Chopard Lounge
(also in 2014!), Hotel Martinez!

Chopard and the tradition of the Cannes Film Festival Palme d'Or - This year marks the 15th anniversary of Chopard’s partnership with the Cannes Film Festival. It all began in 1997 when Pierre Viot, President of the Festival at the time, asked Caroline Scheufele, the Co-President and Artistic Director, to redesign the Palme d’Or. The following year in 1998, when the best film in the competition was announced, the audience discovered a Palme d’Or of unprecedented beauty, symbolising love of cinema."
Chopard's Palme d'Or 2014
Moments before the 67th Cannes Film Festival officially opened, Chopard wished all the Palme d'Or candidates good luck, unveiling the trophy of the 67th festival on it's Instagram account. 25th May we'll find out who will be this year's winner, following Abdellatif Kechiche's 'Blue is the Warmest Coulour' last year.
From Runway to Red Carpet
Every night over the ten days of the 67th Cannes Film Festival which runs from 14th May to 25th May, 2014, stars of fashion and film will walk the famous 24 steps of the Palais des Festival in looks from the latest runway shows. The red carpet is a runway of white dresses, black looks, sheer panels and pure style, showing off the best of Fashion Week, alongside bespoke creations made especially for Cannes.
