DIOR Fall/Winter 2016 Ad-Campaign With Julia Nobis

Julia Nobis is back as the face of Dior’s Autum/Winter 2016 campaign after previously appearing in the autumn 2015 advertisements. The Australian beauty poses for Steven Meisel in dynamic studio shots. Each shot features the blonde model in mid-stride with a bag hanging from her hand. Dior’s autumn collection was designed by Serge Ruffieux and Lucie Meier, who will also unveil the haute couture collection in July.

As the embodiment of the Dior ready-to-wear autumn-winter 2016-2017 collection, the progressively mobile woman is an active and expressive woman of today. Incarnated by Julia Nobis, her personality is spontaneously expressed in an unfettered mix of garments, motifs and embroideries. In this series of shots, her athletic dynamism reveals the inherent richness of the creations she wears: a skirt's sensual slit exposing a leg caught in mid-stride, an association of animal and plant motifs visible when the panels of a coat flip up, or the flounces of a dress that flutter with a shift of the shoulders.

A few of the quainter ones were being trotted out by the natives who had boarded “The Dior Express” as it chugged through the Oxfordshire countryside, bound for Blenheim Palace May 31st (see my Instagram-story @andreajankeofficial direct from the show). It was bucketing down, pelting, chucking it down, raining cats and dogs doing everything in its power, in fact, to rain on the grand, sweeping country house location of Dior’s Resort show.

Blumarine unveils the new Spring/Summer 2015 campaign, starring model Catherine McNeil. Photographer Camilla Akrans perfectly captures the Maison’s romantic spirit and decorative taste, while a frame of three-dimensional flowers conveys a sense of modern elegance and blooming femininity. There were embroidered A-line skirts and digitally printed semisheer organza shift dresses that were ready for a balmy island tour, there were beach-party frocks and alluring long strapless gowns in pale peach with inviting cascades of ruffles, one which, on a pouty-lipped and appropriately tousled Anna Ewers, brought to mind Brigitte Bardot tangled in a bedsheet, which is, of course, the best kind of party.

'Imperial Colours' by Blumarine Fall/Winter 2014/15'

Kimono designs are intended to show the wearers enjoyment in the Fall/Winter '14/15 seasonal flora and fauna. The embroidered gold Asian flowers that spread over Blumarine’s fall collection could, at first glance, represent the holiday season, but one had the feeling that, for Anna Molinari, their sparkle was more about the essence of rock-star glamor or indeed a geisha-at-large.

Patrizia Pepe is delighted to present first images from the new Fall/Winter 2012 Advertising Campaign, shot in London by photographers, Mert & Marcus. The face of the new season, the Polish model Anja Rubik, gives her interpretation on the theme “Breakfast on the Moon”, which is the inspiration behind the Patrizia Pepe ready-to-wear and accessories collection this Winter. Defining a sensual and hyper-feminine wardrobe for the season, artfully balancing elegance, innovation and experimental design.

The location is an inner-city garage, that in addition to portraying the urban vibe of the Patrizia Pepe look, also shows a visual journey, from the intimate and cosy interiors in the previous ad campaigns, to a more obscure outdoor setting, to symbolise a place poised between the present and the future. In the background of the Parking Garage, the clean, minimalist lines of a luxury car represent a concrete element in the subtle setting in which the Patrizia Pepe woman poses – real and alluring – as flawless as the clothes she is wearing, designed to flow with every movement and rhythm of modern living.

With the new images, Patrizia Pepe reasserts a path blessed with many exclusive projects and partnerships, while continuing to bring in international fashion and image talents, able to capture and communicate to others the creative philosophy of the brand with passion, energy and a unique style. The new Advertising Campaign will be on-air in the main Italian and international media from mid-August.
