Paris Haute Couture Week kick's off today, Stéphane Rolland will present is spectacular Fall 2015 Haute Couture collection Tuesday, July 7th, 2:30 PM (CET).
Pure, structured, elegant – that's the least one could say about Stéphane Rolland's Spring/Summer 2015 Couture collection, which was showcased in Paris, at La Maison de la Radio. In fact, the location was a perfect match for the collection, and vice-versa, as the long, slightly curved room was bathing in natural light and thereby highlighting each single luxurious detail of Rolland's Haute Couture numbers. Stéphane Rolland focused on a black and white pattern, and only added hints of nudes here and there, such as beige tulle detailing on a white fishtail dress, or a beautiful nude dégradé on a voluminous transparent tulle dress, that came with a metallic sequined bustier. While color might not have been a topic this season, metallics were: think an iridescent metallic knit jumper casually worn over a floor-skimming white chiffon skirt, or gold and silver colored curvy latex patterns that embraced transparent chiffon and tulle numbers.
