Burton's Ice Queen for Alexander McQueen

"I was thinking about an ice queen. Someone strong and noble and romantically powerful," said Sarah Burton.

"... a real fairy tale of gowns, with fantastical trains made from gundreds of feet of ivory-edged ruffled tulle, with a bodice embroidered with tiny leaf-fonds frosted with a minute crystals and pearls ... inset with pinhead studs in the shape of a Tudor rose."
