"The inspiration?" said Carolina Herrera. "The inspiration is the real women who are going to wear these clothes!"
The best looks were those that suggested the kind of insouciant elegance that Herrera herself pulls off with such stealthy panache - a silver sequin rugby shirt paired with a gray flannel evening skirt, perhaps; a swaggering coat of garnet mink, sheared to resemble silk velvet; a "trench coat" evening dress in mille-feuille layers of amethyst organza.

Every design is poetic elegance. Propah sophistication. I love the shaded, black-copper sheer gown..It wraps & folds on the body like art. The colors, the shimmer...A woman is a Diva in Carolina Harrera haute couture.
