The new ASSOULINE boutique is located on the ground floor of the historic BAUER Hotel (1455 San Marco, Venice). The wonderful interior of the 40 squares meters store gathers beautiful original wallpaper and decorative, exposed ceiling beams. An addition of Assouline-designed walnut bookcases and wall-shelves, antique vintage table, and specially designed light fixtures make the store extremely chic and titles all glow very evenly.
Designed to evoke a luxurious wrapped gift, the new boutique will stock Assouline's most in-demand titles, from the Ultimate Collection (hand-crafted volumes ranging from $500 to $7.000), to a selection of Assouline Vintage titles curated by Prosper Assouline.
About ASSOULINE - With a vision of luxury print, Prosper founded ASSOULINE Publishing with his wife, Martine Assouline, in Paris in 1994, creating a world of exclusivity in books and brand identity. Under Prosper and Martine's direction, Assouline has invented a visual language that is internationally recognized for its excellence. In October 2010, Prosper Assouline was knighted by the French Minister of Culture, Frédéric Mitterrand, and was initiated into the 'Ordre des Art et des Lettres'.
Renowned for its highly original graphic concept, Assouline creates the most sophisticated books in the world. The spirit and savoir-faire of the company have contributed to the creation of a unique and eclectic, chic and elegant brand that is immediately identifiable. Assouline has published over 1.200 titles across international markets on subjects including fashion, art, architecture and design, gastronomy, photography, travel and lifestyle. The brand will be celebrating its 20-year anniversary at the end of this year.

"The joy of Assouline's small but artfully stage-managed oases is that they allow the customer to feel like a millionaire - flipping through the pages of handsome books about beautiful things in a pleasant environment and leaving with a weighty example or two in a smarthy branded bag - without necessarily having to blow a millionaires budget." - Vanity Fair On Art
