Spring/Summer 2013 with Baz Luhrmann

Wednesday May 15th and British actress Carey Mulligan, the face behind Daisy in Baz Luhrmann's 'The Great Gatsby', hit the legendary Cannes red carpet for the start of the 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival. However it was to Carey Mulligan, the actress who has brought Gatsby’s Daisy to life on screen that the crowd looked for a dazzling vision of Christian Dior Haute Couture beauty. Despite pouring rain, the porcelain-skinned British actress opted for the long Christian Dior pale pink gown made expressly for her by the French couture house, pairing the dress with a Tiffany & Co. set of diamonds for the perfect dose of Hollywood appeal.

From catwalk looks straight to red carpet outfits, Cannes Film Festival is above all a question of style. For ten days internationally renowned actors and actresses will grace the steps of the Palais des Festivals in the latest creations from Fashion Week or in those especially created for them. From runway to reality, enjoy the Cannes Film Festival looks from the opening day.
