Bouquets Of Roses - "Chérie Bow", the new spring makeup line, takes its cue from Monsieur Dior's favorite codes: the rose, the bow, and hounds-tooth.
With sorbet glosses, tutu-inspired nail polish and eye shadow as delicate as Christian Dior’s beloved roses, the powder-hued Chérie Bow collection picks up on classic Dior signatures. Among them are Trianon gray, which has clad the walls of the house since the couturier’s first fashion show, in 1947; hounds-tooth and bows, which have been a consistent presence in house creations from the beginning; and a British-inflected name, in homage to the designer’s first perfume, Miss Dior, which in 1947 paid tribute to the designer’s passion for English elegance … The makeup line, whose palette was designed by Camille Miceli, Dior’s director of accessories, heralds spring’s first flowers.
The History of the DIOR Bow
Among the timeless codes of history of Dior, the bow is one of the most enduring. When Christian Dior presented his first collection in 1947, he created the first Miss Dior perfume to commemorate the occasion. Each bottle of Miss Dior – available exclusively to Dior couture customers – featured a bow tied around it’s neck. “I like bows to finish a neckline, decorate a hat or close a belt,” said Christian Dior. “Whether small, large or enormous, I like them in any style and any material.” The bow embodied a playful femininity embodied by the Christian Dior brand, acting as an essential punctuating element, an eye-catching, finishing touch of a dress. Known as the “Fontanges Bow,” the iconic accent serves as a charming echo of ribbons that Louis XIV’s mistress wore in her hair, and quickly became a recurrent reference at the House of Dior, decorating, among other things, the oval medallions of the house.

CHÉRIE BOW Diorblush
Embossed with the houndstooth check motif, Diorblush is back in its
spring dress. Beneath its powder puff lie two new colour harmonies:
peach and "happiness" pink. Your cheekbones flush with pink, like a
snapshot taken after a walk outdoors.
CHÉRIE BOW Vernis
For this new edition, DIOR has created three new shades, emblematic of Dior colours:
- Tutu: a pale pink imbued with softness
- Rosy Bow: a brght, radiant pink with a hint of coral
- Trianon Grey: a tender and delicate grey
CHÉRIE BOW Twin Set
The new eye shadow pen, Twin Set, is an essential for eyes. It is
inspired by the secrets of backstage make-up artists who apply a rich
shadow then set it with powder for long wear. At one end, a super-soft
pencil applies a veil of dense, satin or iridescent eye shadow. At the
other end, a foam blender impregnated with shimmering powder makes your colour sparkle.
