Each year at the Cannes Film Festival, Chopard unveils the new models in its High Jewellery Red Carpet collection. 65th Festival De Cannes | Stars In Dior

On the sixth floor of the Majestic hotel, in the Christian Dior suite, actresses come by to get made-up before mounting the Festival Palace's fabled steps. A mix of internationally famous actresses and young unknowns, the future hopes of the film world. With medallion-backed chairs and a cannage motif nail bar, one could almost believe one was on Avenue Montaigne - if it wasn't for the breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea outside the window and the Palace opposite. This year, to mark the release of the Stars In Diorbook chronicling the intimate relationship the house has enjoyed with cinema over the past 65 years, a selection of images from the book is decorating the walls of the suite's first salon.

Eva Herzigova - the model and new face of Chopard wore a diamond necklace to the Cannes opening ceremony at May 16th, especially designed by the jewelry house, in homage to Marilyn Monroe. The 65th Cannes Film Festival put the legendary glamour of Marilyn Monroe center stage, as the face of the event, which includes an exhibition of 25 previously unseen photos of the actress, by Chopard. To celebrate, the jewelry house created a diamond necklace inspired directly by Marilyn Monroe’s love for the precious stone, for Eva Herzigova at the opening ceremony May 16. In a close-cut lace dress by Dolce & Gabbana, Eva wore the intricate piece paired with diamond pendant earrings and simple, retro hair
